Mr. Van Riper's Biography


Jim 
Van Riper teaches high school US History, US Government, and English, and he serves as the yearbook adviser and high school guidance counselor. While in high school, he developed a burden for Christian education and a desire to see young people yield their lives to serve the Lord. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida in 1988.  Before coming to Parsippany Christian School, Jim taught at Madison Avenue Baptist Academy in Paterson, NJ from 1988-1992. From 2004-2007 he taught at Santa Rosa Christian School in Milton, FL. He is certified with the American Association of Christian Schools, and he plans to finish his master's degree program within the next two years.
